Kozlowski Executive Properties /KEP Realty Group is a full service Real Estate Brokerage with a specialized team of Realtors. Agents have been chosen for their honesty, integrity and devotion to their clients. KEP largely deals in residential real estate transactions and property management while also specializing in higher end luxury and investment properties.
How do you define success?
The KEP team defines success as building great relationships and happy clients. Receiving referrals from satisfied clients, family and friends with great enthusiasm and confidence are indicators that we have earned clients’ trust and loyalty.
What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
It’s the same moment over and over again. When all parties involved in any KEP transaction are satisfied completely.
What motivated you to run your own business?
As a former Police Officer, I was able to sell Real Estate concurrently with being an Officer. I was able to build a base of clients and referrals during this period. After working with larger Corporate Real Estate firms I was motivated to cut out the red tape and have greater opportunities to work directly with my clients. By owning my business I am able to provide more time and service to my clients and this flexibility and personal care results in a much better bottom line.
What’s the best thing about owning your own business?
Being able to access and implement more than 30 years of experience in assisting my clients and realtors I advise.
And the most challenging?
Dealing with unprofessional business practices and people in the same industry.

No particular person but in general, a company or person, who is able to be successful through honesty and integrity and professionalism.
How do you generate new ideas?
Sometimes ideas occur simply by brainstorming and just by participating in the daily requirements of one’s business—the proverbial lightbulb, while others are making sure you don’t make the same mistake over and over again.
What are two industry challenges your business is facing?
Responding to a constantly evolving and changing real estate environment as well as a lack of professionalism within the industry.
If you could give one piece of advice to small business owners what would it be?
Limit your expenses and overhead so you can focus more resources towards your existing clients and prospective clients.
